ECO-TPUs based on renewable sources
The ESTANE and PEARLBOND ECO TPUs were already highlights at the FAKUMA trade fairs years ago. These ESTANE and PEARLBOND ECO TPUs are based on renewable, green raw materials.
In the meantime, there is an extensive program in the Shore hardness range from A80 to D55 and for almost all applications - including extrusion-capable types.
These bio-based TPUs are not to be confused with biodegradable plastics, but are characterized by very high chemical resistance and mechanical properties. They are partly superior to classic TPUs made on petroleum basis. ECO TPUs thus not only offer the possibility of saving CO2, but also show excellent properties in the field of low-temperature flexibility and chemical resistance.
The proportion of bio-based raw materials in the recipes is indicated for each product.
